As the 2022/23 season is knocking the door all the 10 clubs of the FUFA Women Super League have successfully passed the Club Licensing exercise.
A number of factors were considered during the Club Licensing process.
Among these included;
1-Administration
This includes the club Chief Executive Officer (CEO), CAF C Coach and the medical personnel.
2-Finance
Each club is required to have an active bank account, current bank statement and the club budget.
3-Legal
Each club should have Statutes, ownership form, declaration of compliance form and application of club license form
4-Sporting
All players should have a medical cover, the club should have a minimum of 5 contracted players.
List of players not exceeding 30 and all allocated shirt numbers.
5-Infrastructure
Each club should have an office facility, full green pitch and a stadium tenancy agreement.
The 10 teams that successful completed the licensing exercise include;
1-She Corporate FC
2-Kampala Queens FC
3-Kawempe Muslim Ladies Fc
4-Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga
5-UCU Lady Cardinals FC
6-Olila High School WFC
7-Lady Doves FC
8-Rines SS WFC
9-Arsubo Gafford Ladies FC
10-Makerere University WFC
The FUFA Competitions Department has promised to release the fixtures soon for the season to kick off.
