Wakiso Giants welcomed Arua Hill to Kabaka Kyabagu and failed to collect maximum points from the Kongolo boys.
The game started with early end to end threats but no goal seen owing to good defensive displays from both sides.
Wakiso Giants’ team captain, Hassan Ssenyonjo scored in the 20th minute through an Ibrahim Kasule assist to open the can for the day.
Arua Hill SC put in a serious shift, forcing saves from the Wakiso Giants’ custodian, Ssekagya. Isaac Ogwang and Matovu tried the custodian and he did well to keep the shots out.
The first half ended with a lead for Wakiso Giants, setting the pace for the Kongolo boys in the second half in search for an equaliser.
Mpande Reagan was denied by Ssekagya while Wakiso Giants took the pressure from the Kongolo boys.
In the 90th minute, substitute Junior Andama levelled the score from the spot to deny Wakiso Giants from collecting maximum points in office.
Wakiso Giants’ chances of climbing higher are soiled while Arua Hill’s chances of climbing into the top four are frustrated.
Wakiso Giants finishes the first half of the season in the third place with 25 points while Arua Hill in the 6th with 23 points.
