Ugandan golfer Bagalana Abbey will be making his debut at the Ivory coast Open today. The tournament at the 72 par President Golf Club in Yamoussoukro which was last held in 1999 will see Bagalalana as the only Ugandan at the event that starts today 21st April and ends on 24th April 2021.
Bagalana who will be looking to take home 38,000 Euros was optimistic to bring victory home after golfer Andrew Opio Sponsored his trip to a tune of $1300.
He said, “ The course is dry and the greens are running slow”. This was after the Ugandan golfer had walked through the course and worked on his chipping.
Meanwhile the 5th edition of match play challenge is set to kickoff on Saturday 24th April 2021 at the Entebbe golf club.
