After being invited by Kouakou Laussi Emmanuel Koffi (President of the Ivorian golf federation), Bagalana Abbey is set to make his debut as a pro in a golf tournament at the ivory coast open.
The 21st edition at the Yamacourkouro golf club which will take place from April 21 – 24 will see Bagalana as the only Ugandan professional golfer at the tournament.
Andrew Opio has facilitated his preparations and travels. Opio has been facilitating several professional and amateur golfers.
In a related development, former Uganda cranes International footballer and Football agent turned golfer Daniel Ntale was seen playing round golf at the Achimota Golf club in Ghana.
Ntale who got the golf bug is a member of the Uganda golf club. His Soccer agency represents Ghanian born coach Sellas Tetteh who is a coach of Sierra Leone club Slafa. Ntale also represents among others Geoffrey Sserunkuma, fahad Bayo and Hood Kawesa
