Proline FC were up against the Uganda Premier League side MYDA FC in the round 32 of the Uganda Cup.
But the one name that has gotten Ugandans talking is the son of singer Bebe Cool, Thierry Alpha Ssali who scored a beauty to hand his side a first leg advantage over MYDA at Lugogo stadium. Bebe Cool took the celebration to his social media saying how proud he was of his son
Alpha spent his young football career at Proline Soccer Academy from the age of three. He also had a chance to train with the Arsenal Soccer Academy in 2010. Most recently, he was part of the Hippos squad that took part in the just concluded U20 championship, where they were beaten by Ghana in the final.
He alongside the likes of Hakim Kiwanuka, Brian Umony, Hamis Kiiza scored to give Proline FC an advantage going into the second leg that will be played at the King George IV Memorial Stadium in Tororo on Friday, 9th April 2021.
The youngster has already shown a lot of potential after winning a number of awards like top scorer in the Gothia Cup China in 2019 where the East African team came third. He is definitely one to watch as he plays to win his critics over.
