On Monday, May 31, the Uganda Handball Federation released fixtures for the Handball Champions League.
The league will be hosted at Bambi Military Grounds and Ndejje University grounds starting on Saturday 5th June to 13th June.
All matches in the group stages will be hosted at Bombo Military grounds on the 5th and 6th of June. The semi-finals and finals will be played at Ndejje University grounds on the 12th and 13th respectively.
The Uganda Handball champions league is made of 4 male and female teams. They are all from the 2019 Handball National Netball league standings before the COVID pandemic.
Therefore the qualifying teams are; UPDF Army, Prisons Handball Club, Police HC and Ndejje University Hoppers in the men’s group while Ladies will be represented by Kawanda SSS, Ndejje Lady Hoppers, Prisons Ladies and Police HC.
During the competition, games will begin at 10:00 and the last game taking place at 15:00 Hrs. 3 games will be played per day.
The opening match will be UPDF Army vs Prisons Spears. Kawanda will open up with Ndejje Lady Hoppers while Prisons will meet Police in the ladies fixture.
