Uganda Premier League team Bright Stars Football Club has officially announced a front shirt sponsor in Wakana Zouen. This partnership is with a Japanese-based landscape contracting company whose chairperson is called Yoshihiro Wakana.

The logo of the company will be placed on the uppermost part of the front shirt for the Bright Stars FC.

The club’s Japanese connections has won them great financial positions over the period ever since they got the promotion to the Uganda Premier League. Wakana Zouen becomes the 8th company to join Bright Stars Football Club, after Yoshino Trading Limited (Clavicle part), Showa Glove CO. Limited, Ashinaga Scholarship Foundation, Ball Field, Tres Japan, Next Connect, and Africa Dream Soccer Tour.

Bright Stars is currently 9th on the UPL table with 20 points after 16 games played this season. They won their latest match in the league 3:1 against Kitara FC at Kavumba Recreational Stadium, and their next game in the league will be on 14th April 2021 against Wakiso Giants.

But this week Bright Stars will be up against Paidha Black Angels in a two-legged round of 32 contest in the Uganda Cup, and the club fans will be hoping that the club can replicate the same performance they displayed against Kitara FC in the league this weekend.
