Uganda’s representatives in the CAF Confederation Cup Bul FC will hope to advance to the round after making a goalless draw against Future FC in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round at St Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
BUL FC had a better team in the second half but wasted two good chances.
Ibrahim Kazindula had a better chance but missed it after shooting poorly and wide though unmarked.
Future FC’s goalkeeper twice denied BUL, including parrying out a late header from Karim Ndugwa.
The Eastern Giants who won the Uganda Cup to reach this stage had a shaky start on their Continental debut.
Egyptian side Future FC enjoyed more time on the ball, but the two best chances fell to Ahmed Atef; one was denied by Saidi Keni & he sent the other effort over the bar
BUL looked pedestrian in the middle and their strikers Oketch & Ndugwa have barely got a supply
The return leg for the tie will be played in Cairo next Saturday.
Fahadn I think bull fc will win return leg
