Bunyaruguru Girls FC into the quarter finals of the FUFA Women Elite League after a comfortable win against Town View SS WFC

In the second game of the day Town View SS WFC lost its third consecutive game of the tournament after a 3-1 loss against Rines SS WFC and 4-2 loss against Kataka SHE FC.

In the 24th minute Adrine Musimenta of Bunyaruguru Girls entered the referee’s books with a yellow for rough play. 

8 minutes later in the 32nd minute Bunyaruguru Girls were ahead through Halima Katushabe’s sole effort.

At half time Katushabe’s goal was the difference between the two teams.

Early in the second half in the 56th minute Bunyaruguru Girls was into a double lead through Norah Alupo’s cool finish inside the box.

7 minutes later Halima Katusabe sealed a brace to put her team into a comfortable lead in the 63rd minute.

Town View SS spent the rest of the minutes trying to find a consolation but Bunyaruguru Girls couldn’t give them any breathing space and the game ended 3-0.

The result means Bunyaruguru Girls FC has finished 2nd on the table with 6 points and 3 goals, behind Rines SS who finished with 9 points and 4 goals from the 3 matches in group B.

Town View SS WFC has not managed to collect a single point from the 3 games after losing all their games in the group.

Bunyaruguru Girls FC has joined the likes of Rines SS WFC, King of Kings WFC and Dynamic SS Jjeza WFC who already qualified for the quarter finals
