Busoga United and Malaba Youth Football Association tomorrow face off in the opening fixture of game week 24 of the Uganda Premier League. After they were forced to share a point against Wakiso Giants midweek, Busoga United tomorrow will make a trip to their eastern neighbours MYDA FC, at the King George IV Memorial Stadium (Tororo). The two teams have been rotating around the relegation zone this season, but it is Busoga United that stand a better chance over MYDA with a point difference of 15 points that separate them.

Busoga United go into this game hoping to take advantage of a struggling MYDA side which hasn’t posed a threat this season to many UPL teams, and get all the maximum 3 points that could send them to 9th position in the league with 29 points after a win in tomorrow’s games.

For MYDA FC things are not looking bright for the club with regards to their survival chances in the league for next season and even though they had collected 2 points in the recent two draws against UPDF and Kyetume FC, they are hanging by a thread. Their recent performance has given them a bit of a motivating factor going into this but they need to be able to win games such as this one for tomorrow against Busoga United.

The two teams have no major injury scare going into this fixture and they should be able to give us the sport lovers an entertaining Friday evening come tomorrow 14th.05.2021. I expect MYDA FC at their home to try and win this game against Busoga United, and I know it not going to be easy but I am predicting a 2:1 in favor of the home team.
