With no chances, Buutu was the better team on day one of the Batball Open Nile Edition as they managed to stay unbeaten, picking three wins in three engagements they held since the start of the day.
Their result against other teams means Buutu have earned an automatic qualification to the finals of Batball Open Nile Edition that shall be played on Sunday 18th December 2022 at the same venue.
The remaining three teams have a chance to join Buutu at the finals but it all depends on who plays better during the placements games.
Besides Buutu, Amakubi, Amakokotazi and Empungu complete the list of four teams mainly involving boys under the age of 19 as they showcase their talent to the world.
The battle to join Buutu at the finals continues tomorrow with a number of four fixtures and all the games shall be broadcasted live on Batball TV just like it was on the first day.
At the end of the final day, the best 16 players will be selected to represent the region in the next challenge called Batball X.
