With the national Hockey league scheduled to kick off this weekend, players from all the league teams underwent a Covid-19 test at Lugogo sports complex as per the ministry of health guidelines.
A maximum of 30 minutes was allocated to each team for this exercise. The testing started with Makerere University Business School men’s team at 11:00 am.
As the players were undertaking their Covid tests, clubs were busy completing transfers of players with 11 players having successfully completed their transfers to their new employers.
The national Hockey league which is scheduled to commence on 8th May and end on 18th September will see all matches being played at the Lugogo indoor stadium.
