Coach James Odoch needs a saviour at the moment because the Red Eagles have only picked up one point the past five games which is unorthodox for a club like Express FC.

The side is free falling and before the clash later today against Maroons, the side in the 9th position with only 15 points from 12 games, no one would see this coming from a side that recently won the UPL with Coach Wasswa Bbosa.

Additionally, the side is also tainted with allegations of players going unpaid for up to three months and since, some staff members left the club.

However, James Odoch is only focused on football at the moment and wants to pick maximum points against the prison warders.

Express FC’s four first team players will not be available and these are; Joseph Akandwanaho and Faruku Katongole due to illness while goalkeeper Denis Otim and defender Andrew Kaggwa are suspended having accumulated three yellow cards

Maroons FC on the other hand are looking forward to grabbing a win at home. The prison warders were handed a boost with the return of David Ndihabwe who will be fit to face his former employers Express FC.

Maroons FC currently sits right behind Express FC and if the Luzira based side wins, they will go past Express FC, closing on SOLTILO Bright Stars at 17 points.

As the first half of the season comes to an end, we can comfortably say the table has been very volatile with currently only 6 points separating the 8th and 4th position.

Any team with consistent form can lay claim to the throne and as it stands, Maroons FC and Express FC both have a chance to step closer to the Top four clubs
