KCCA today was looking to register their first win of the season without their former manager Mike Mutebi on the touch line.

The rubbish collectors were under the stewardship of their new manager, Morley Bwekwaso. He has recently moved on from the assistant position to interim manager after the departure of Mike Mutebi.

But even with the changes, the rubbish collectors still fancied collecting some rubbish off the Uganda Premier League in the second half of the season. And they did. They BUL FC 3 : 0 to remain in the 4h position.

First half almost ended 0 : 0. But in the 45th minute, Filbert Obenchen scored to give his team a 1 : 0 advantage going into halftime.

After halftime break, KCCA FC’s Charles Lwanga doubled his club advantage in the 46th minute to make it 2 : 0 just at the beginning of the second half.

It would have ended like that, only for Julius Poloto to attach his name to the score sheet with a 75th minute strike to make it 3 : 0 for the home team.

This result can only mean that Morley Bwekwaso’s KCCA FC is upto a good start with a lot still remaining to be seen from their new manager. A win was enough to keep them in 4th position on 30 points after 16 games played this season.

Bul FC on the other hand dropped to the 10th position, only 3 points above Mbarara City who defeated Wakiso Giants today to move to 11th position.
