Congolese magnifico lands late winner to cement KCCA FC’s log leadership

KCCA FC beats Busoga United FC two goals  to one to secure three points and stay top of the log. 

The game was solid, with a lot of possession for KCCA FC however it took a foul in Busoga United’s box, penalty awarded which was converted by the team’s vice captain Julius Poloto. 

Busoga United kept pushing and defending well against the Kasasiro boy. Effort and resilience paid off as Laban Tibita scored a cut back to level matters. 

Coach Morley introduced Kagawa Muhammad, Ashraf Mugume and Haruna who replaced Mato, Poloto and Emmanuel Wasswa. 

The gaffer needed the wing-backs to wreck more havoc from the flanks and cause threat to the visitors. 

The Congolese magnifico was brought on for Shaban Muhammad who was brought down in the 19th minute in the box, winning a penalty for KCCA FC. 

Tshisingu Kakonde scored a beautifully struck goal from 30 yards to place the hosts in the lead at home. This win means KCCA FC maintain top position in the StarTimes Premier League.

KCCA FC will face Bright Stars to mark the final game of the first round next week on Tuesday 20th December in Kavumba Recreational Grounds.
