Sundowns lead the PSL with 57 points, seven ahead of second-placed Amazulu, the latter lost to Baroka Swallows 1-0 on Tuesday to paralyze their title ambitions.

Sundowns will wait until May 29th, when they host Moses Waiswa’s SuperSport United to confirm their feat.

At the moment, they will turn their attention to the CAF Champions League quarter final tie against Al Ahly. They are chasing a second African title, the first since 2016.

Onyango and Masandawana have been in fine domestic form this season. They have won 16, drawn 9, and lost just once.

With 41 goals, the Brazilians from Pretoria have scored the most goals this season. They also have the meanest defense, shipping in just 13 goals.

Onyango has played 23 games and has kept 14 clean sheets, the most this season, and his best return since arriving in South Africa in 2006.

The Bafana Ba Style is chasing a fourth straight title and will become the first team to achieve the feat.

If they achieve the feat, Onyango and skipper Hlompho Kekana will become the most decorated players in Premier Soccer League history with eight titles.

Onyango won three with Supersport United while Kekana won two, with Sundowns, the former has four while the Bafana Bafana international is on five.

Denis Onyanga recently resigned from the National football and he is now concentrating on his international career where he has achieved many awards among these include; 2016 CAF Champions League winner, 2016 African-based African player of the year and named the tenth best goal keeper in the world list compiled by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics.
