Dove FC suffer first defeat of the season in Bulisa |Kitara Regional League

Result: Bugoigo Leopards FC 2-1 Dove FC.

Dove FC from Masindi suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of Bugoigo Leopards FC (2-1) away in Bulisa.

The match was played at Bugoigo park play ground on Sunday 18th of December.

Mungu Jakisa and Steven Jakwong were on the score sheet for the Bulisa side as they recorded the third win from the four games played.

Their only loss came away to Bujumbura United 3-0 in Hoima. The Leopards are 4th on the table with nine points. 

At home, Bugoigo Leopards FC have collected maximum points (6) from the two games. The first was a 2-1 victory over Kiryandongo United on matchday two.

Dove FC who came to fixture unbeaten in three games, were beaten for the first time this season in the four games.

In the opening three games the Red Army (Dove FC) beat Blue Star Mugarana FC (3-1), Jeeja FC (2-1) and Kiryandongo United (4-1).

This was Dove FC’s second match away from home, the other they were 1-2 victors against Blue Star Mugarana FC.

The result means the Masindi side remain at nine points collected from four games, second on the Kitara regional league (Albert Group) table.

They have scored a total of nine goals and let in four in the process.

Bugoigo Leopards FC will travel to Masindi to Kirasa United on Sunday 1st of January 2023 in their next assignment. On the same date Dove FC will be at home Katusabe stadium hosting table leaders Bujumbura United.

Else where, Kiryandongo United beat Kirasa United 2-1 at Kiryandongo c.o.u play ground to register first win of the season.

At Kigaya play ground, Buhumba Saints United FC were 1-0 winners over Bweyale United.
