Express FC striker Eric Kambale nodded in a late goal ensuring his side got the much-needed 3 points against Police FC at Lugogo Stadium.

A heavy downpour in Kampala made it hard for Police FC to play their free-flowing football. With rain all over, there was a need for a change of strategy from both coaches to get something from the match, and it was the Express FC’s coach Bbosa who carried the day by setting up his side to play more physically hence picking up the maximum 3 points.

After playing for 84 minutes, Kambale found himself unmarked just inside the box area and headed home from a loose ball after a poor clearance by Police FC. He decided the tie in favor of Express moving them into second position whereas Police stay in the fifth position.
