Vipers SC, title contenders and defending champions made a short trip to Wankulukuku in search for three points only to salvage one for the day.
The clash was met with water logged pitch as rained had fallen all morning and the whole pitch was dump and slippery.
Slippery pitched tend to dictate players’ balance and quality of passing. Considering that Vipers SC’s home turf is different, it gave the players a lot of challenges.
Overall, the game was relatively balanced, with both sides trying their best to find the winning tide in every chance of attack.
Express FC has more shots on target (7) compared to Vipers SC (3) however Vipers SC had a higher ball possession (53%) compared to Express FC (47%).
Marvin Joseph Youngman tried the Express FC keeper Denis Otim who parried the ball away from danger.
Hillary Mukundane was man of the match with the clearance to deny Hassan Mubiru from burying a clear-cut chance at goal.
Joseph Akandanwaho, Hussein Ssenoga and Arthur Kiggundu all threatened a goal but the Vipers SC keeper Mutombora was alert and awake.
The game ended in a stalemate, denying Vipers SC from climbing top after KCCA FC also lost two points in office.
Express FC did well to avoid a fifth consecutive loss after losing four games on the bounce.
