Four star Kitara FC cruise past Luweero United to stay top of the table |FUFA Big League

Result: Kitara FC 4-0 Luweero United.

Kitara FC continued with a perfect home form beating Luweero United 4-0 at Kigaya play ground on Thursday 29th December 2022.

Unstoppable Patrick Henry Kaddu put the royals in a 1-0 lead as early as the 5th minute, taking his tally to 13 goals currently the FUFA Big League top scorer.

Ten minutes after the second half, John Kisakye scored his third goal for Kitara FC, second on the day from midfielder Muber Erick assist, 2-0.

Kisakye turned to an assister as he helped Agondeze Edson put the home team into a 3-0 conformable lead.

The former Victorious FC striker (Edson) has now notched eight league goals for the Hoima City side.

Substitute Akugizibwe Stuart who came in for John Kisakye in the 70th minute opened his goal account at Kitara FC with the fourth in added time.

This is the fourth time the Hoima City side has scored four goals above this campaign. They did so against Northern Gateway FC, Kyetume FC, Ndejje University FC and lately Luweero United.

The result meant Kitara FC won all the seven matches they have played at home, scored 25 goals and conceded only three.

Kitara FC retained their top spot on the sixteen log teams moving to 26 points after 12 matches. This was their eighth win of the season.

Luweero United suffered the fifth loss of the season, remained at 15 points and 10th on the table.

This was the Kosovo Boys first defeat in their last three matches, they have won the two.

This was the fourth meeting between the two teams, Kitara FC has managed two victories, Luweero United one and one draw.

On matchday thirteen on Thursday 5th of January 2023, Kitara FC will visit Soroti City FC while Luweero United host Kyetume FC.
