At the quarterly engagement with the media at Jevine Hotel, the Federation of Uganda Football Association today addressed issues and questions from journalists.
As earlier predicted, most questions asked were based on the future of the Uganda Cranes coach Mckinstry’s suspension.
From the address, Engineer Moses Magogo reminded the journalists of the four factors that constituted the FUFA’s strategy when they attained office in 2013. These included; improving the image of FUFA, resources, improving the relationship with government and attracting sponsorship.
With the number of full time staff increased from 3 to 60 and the budget increased from UGX 4bn to UGX 40bn, The federation feels it is moving in the right direction after the success of the national teams at all levels.
FUFA president Eng.Moses Magogo also promised to unveil a new project dubbed “the TECHNICAL AGENDA OF FUFA” soon. This project is meant to address the 8 key areas FUFA has put emphasis on. These include; Governance, Football development, equipment and infrastructure, National and representative teams, competitions, Marketing and communications, Finance and administration and membership.
