Booma FC played a total of fifteen matches in the first round of the 2022/2023 FUFA Big League season finished 8th on the table with 19 points.

The Masindi based side registered five victories, four draws, six defeats, scoring a total of twenty two goals and Conceded twenty four in the process.

Captain Omedi Denis was the club top scorer with sixteen goals ten of them coming at their home base Masindi stadium and the other six away from home.

Winger Wabulo Emmanuel was the club second top scorer with three goals. The 20 year old joined the Tukyate at the start of the season from region Dove FC.

Defensive midfielder Sserunjogi Arnold, attacking midfielder Malish Jamal and winger Muhairwe Davis scored one each for the Tukyate Boys.

At their home base Masindi stadium Booma FC registered three wins, two draws and two losses from seven matches scoring thirteen goals and letting in nine.

Away From home coach Alinaitwe Fred coached Booma FC managed just two wins coming against Luweero United 2-3 and Northern Gateway FC 1-2. They lost four, drawn two scored nine and conceded fifteen goals.

Booma FC big win came at the end of first round beating Ndejje University FC 3-0 at Masindi stadium where Omedi Denis scored a brace and Wabulo Emmanuel one.

Their heavy defeat was away to Kataka FC 4-0 at the Mbale municipal stadium.

It should be noted that this is Booma FC’s first ever season in FUFA Big League, they beat Rwenzori Lions FC from Fort Portal 2-0 in the promotional playoffs.
