Fufa Big League game between Tooro United and Luweero United FC that was due to be played on Thursday 10 June has been rescheduled by the FUFA Competitions Department due to the President’s directives of suspending inter-district travels.

During the State of Nation Address, His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni the President of the Republic of Uganda under the Ministry of Health guidelines on COVID-19 Pandemic banned inter-district travels due to the New COVID-19 Outbreak and allowed sports events to go on but without fans in the stadiums to observe the SOPS and encouraged players & Officials to have their PCR test and COVID-19 vaccination certificate which will help them to keep away from COVID-19.

Tooro United Football Club playing in Rwenzori group will host Luweero United Football Club on matchday 13 at Mutesa II Stadium Wankulukuku in a fight to gain Promotion to the Top tier league the Uganda Premier League where they got relegated from last season due to poor performance.

Tooro United Football Club is currently on top of the Rwenzori group with 27 points from 12 games played, five points on top second-placed Proline FC.

The Entale Za Tooro will be hunting for three points from the two games remaining at their new home ground between Luweero United FC and Kigezi HomeBoyz FC to enable them to gain promotion to the Uganda Premier League next season.

Tooro United Started this year’s Big League campaign from Buhinga Stadium in Fort-portal Tourism City before they shifted to Wankulukuku due to failure to extend their contract to use Buhinga Stadium as their home games.

They will be facing Luweero United FC who are currently in the fourth position having managed to collect 14 points from the 12 games played, seven points behind third-placed Nyamityobora FC and one point ahead of Ndejje University FC.

This means their main target will be to maintain their position since they can’t make it to the playoffs.

Their last game will be against Ndejje University Football Club at Kosovo Grounds Kasana Lueweero.
