FUFA Big League: Tooro United FC beat Terrazo & Tiles FC in a five-goal thriller.

Tooro United went into today’s game with 23 points on top of the Rwenzori Group 5 points ahead of Nyamityobora FC which was heavily defeated by Proline FC which was 6 points behind Tooro United FC.

Tooro United FC is now 6 points clear on top of the table with Proline FC in the second position with 20 points.

Mark Nsubuga scored the first goal of the day giving Tooro United a first-half lead but Terrazzo and Tiles levelled matters in quick succession through Patrick Walligo’s header.

Just before the halftime break, Tooro United FC restored their lead through Abdallah Bogere to make it 2-1 before the last whistle of the half.

In the 60^th Eric Akol extended the lead for Tooro United lead making the score 3-1 before Emma Obi pulled a goal back for Terrazzo to make it 2-3.

Despite playing under pressure the ‘Entale za Tooro’ held onto the game to maintain the scoreline to full time.

Tooro United has now collected 26 points from 11 games played having registered 8 wins and one defeat with the remaining two games ending in draws.

Terrazzo and Tiles are now battling with relegation survival at the bottom of the table after collecting only 7 points from the 11 games 4 points behind Water FC who won their game Against Ndejje University FC.
