FUFA Women Elite League: Amuria High School thumped helpless St. Peters WFC to maintain top position in Group C.

FT: Amuria High School WFC 8-1 St. Peters WFC

Venue: FUFA Technical Centre Njeru

In the second game of group C the  based side St. Peters Apoi Girls FC fell into hot soup with the biggest loss of the tournament against Amuria High School WFC.

With a dominant display Amuria High School WFC registered the biggest win of the tournament and this was their second win in a row to remain on top of the table with just one game remaining.

St. Peters looked better in the opening half of the game but later gave up in the second half which saw them concede more seven goals.

Captain Emmanuela Akoel was the first on the score sheet in the 15th minute to give Amuria High School an early lead but St. Peters who competed favorably to level the game through skipper Dollica Aceng in the 28th minute.

Amuria High School regained their lead in the last minute of the first half through Rehema  Akurut who came off the bench and headed home from close range.

The second half was a one sided game with Amuria High School scoring for fun.

Grace Nasongo opened the second half score in the 55th minute just before Prolline Anyaku  making it 4-1 two minutes later.

In the 74th minute Grace Nassango was in for her second on the day to make it 5-1.

Emmanuela Akoel added one goal to take her goal tally to four and go top on the scorers’ chart.

Grace Nasongo grabbed a second half hat trick making it 7-1 , this was a perfect gift for the birthday girl.

Rukia Aringo to completed the rout making it 8-1

Amuria High School WFC is now  through to the Quarterfinals of the FUFA Elite League.

In another game played Ajax Queens won 1-0 against Vision WFC .
