The two Semifinal games will be played on Tuesday 1st June 2021 at the FUFA Technical Centre Njeru.

The teams in the semifinals include Bunyaruguru Girls FC.  The Ruburizi based side put two goals past the Fort Portal Ladies King of Kings who were reduced to 10 players in the first game of the quarter-finals, thanks to Norah Alupo’s brace.

In the first semifinal, Bunyaruguru Girls will be facing Rines WFC who beat Dynamic SS Jjeza 5-4 on penalty shootouts after a barren draw at the FUFA Technical Centre.

It should be remembered that Bunyaruguru Girls FC and Rines SS WFC were all in group B where Rines SS WFC finished on top of the table after winning all the 3 games and Bunyaruguru Girls finished second with 6 points.

Rines SS WFC will be looking forward to a repeat of the group game where they defeated Bunyaruguru Girls FC 1-0 courtesy of Peace Aloyo in the 70th minute of the game.

In another semifinal, Wakiso Hills will be taking on She Maroons FC also known as the Prison Warders in the game that will be played in the afternoon.

Wakiso Hills defeated the stubborn Amuria High School who had put in a great performance in the group stages. It was a hard-fought win that came from an own goal gifted by Josephine Atilong in the 67th minute of the game.

She Maroons FC is the only team in this year’s FUFA Women Elite League with a 100%-win run after winning all their group D games and the quarterfinal game where they defeated Ajax Queens FC three goals to one courtesy of Captain Millicent Namwembe and Anita Babirye.

Just like in the first fixture of the semifinal the two teams were all in Group D where She Maroons collected maximum points from the 3 games and Wakiso Hills narrowly progressed to the quarter-finals with 4 points.

Wakiso Hills will capitalize on the mistakes learnt in a 2-1 defeat by She Maroons in the group stage game to avoid another disappointment and progress to the finals.

The winners in the semifinals will get an automatic qualification to the top tier League the FUFA Women Super League next season.

So it stands the four teams are 90 minutes away from the FUFA Women Super League next season.

The final which will be group B vs Group D will be played on Thursday 3rd June 2021 at the FUFA Technical Centre Njeru.
