Mengo Futsal Club finished top of the Futsal Super League in the Albert Nile Group standing after today narrowly beating Kampala Junior Team by 4:3 in a closely contested match at Old Kampala Arena.

A brace from Saidi Mayanja and one goal apiece from Masuudi Kafumbe and Lamech Mwebaza spurred Mengo Futsal Club to a narrow 4:3 win at KJT. Kampala Junior Team scored their three goals through the current Futsal Super League scorer in Billy Nkata who already has 10 goals to his name despite his side’s status of being winless after five games played.

Today’s win for Mengo sufficiently cemented their top spot in the Albert Nile group and this means that they have qualified already for the semis and their last match of game week 6 will be for formality as they already have booked their spot.

Whereas KJT are now hopeless after failing to win in all five matches they have played in this competition, even though the top scorer of the Futsal Super League might come from their team.

In another Futsal Super League game week 5 match results, Synergy Futsal Club beat Park by 4:2 early in the morning.

Aidenal SOSA were today’s big winners over Big Talent with a 6:3 score line

Yeak Kabowa lost to Kisenyi by 2:0

And lastly Kampala Junior were 4:3 winners over KJT
