After defeating Kisenyi yesterday in game week 4 by 6:1, Park hosted Synergy hoping to continue with their winning streak. But it was the opposite of what they expected today, as Travis Mutyaba scored four goals to singlehandedly ensure a win for Synergy at the Old Kampala Indoor Sports Arena.

Uganda U-17 star player Travis Mutyaba’s individual moments of brilliance and skillful play made life difficult for Park Futsal Club today’s morning.  He netted four goals in the game to hand his side a 4:2 win. Park got their two goals through Junior Abbas and captain Iddi Babu who were also on the score sheet yesterday.

This was the fourth victory for Synergy in the debut season out of five games as they also remain unbeaten coming to the final matchday next weekend. They now have 13 points, six above second placed Kisenyi who also beat the tournament’s worst performer in Yeak Kabowa. Yeak Kabowa have not won a single game in this competition.

Synergy Futsal Club will complete the regular season of the 2021 Futsal Super League as the leaders of the Victoria Nile group. Today’s 4-2 victory over Park during matchday 5 of the league has guaranteed the Masaka based side a place in the semi-finals.
