The mighty tax collectors can bare collect three points on matchday, a tale no one would believe they were not alive to see the giant  struggle.

URA FC’s coach Sam Timbe has not picked up a win in the past seven matches, a very bad record for a club like URA FC that was challenging higher last season.

Last evening, Gaddafi FC upset the tax collectors with a defeat at Kakindy Stadium in Jinja.

Gaddafi FC scored the goals through Andrew Waiswa and Mahad Yaya Kakooza in the first half while the forward George Senkaaba scored late to collect a consolation goal.

URA FC has better chances on the day with close encounters from Dada and Mbowa in the second half.

The game was well structured, both sides seemed very cautious on the move, Gaddafi’s defence was strong on the day.

One could argue that without the early penalty taken by Andrew Waiswa, the Soldier boys would not have a chance against the tax collectors.

Last season, URA FC has Steven Mukwala and Cromwell Rwothomio upfront, a duo that Sam Timbe is missing at the moment because they were clinical in front of goal without second thought.

URA FC finishes the first round with a loss and currently sits in the 11th position with 14 points while Gaddafi FC is higher in the 7th position with 21 points.

Coach Sam Timbe will need a way out, a messiah otherwise his job is on the cross roads.
