Heathens went back home with a bonus point in the bag keeping their title hopes just alive.
The whistle went off at the House of Payne in Entebbe as third placed Heathens took on fifth placed Mongers in the 8th game of the season of the Rugby Premier League
Joseph Bulago went against his former teammates to make his first try of the season to extend Heathens score but the conversion went wide after Ssebuliba Laurence had skinned a Monger to open the score sheet for Heathens with a try for Heathens. The conversion was missed. The score lead was later extended by George Scott with a beautiful try and Joseph Oyet collected the extras.
Heathens went into the break with a bonus point and lead against the hosts. Half time score 06-17.
The boys came back for the second half and Innocent Gwokto immediately opened up the second half score sheet and Aaron Ofoywroth successfully split the upright.
It was a moment of affection when the legendary scrumhalf Gamma Faisal made his 1st try of the season. The conversion went wide.
It was not over yet when Ssebuliba dotted his 2nd try of the day but the conversion was a beauty from Aaron Ofoyrwoth to put the game to bed. Full time scores 09-43 to Heathens.
