It was a battle between the two last teams on the table with both of them looking for their first wins of the season. It was the Warriors who won the contest and moved into 9th place for the first time in as many weeks.

Richard Lumu came back for Rams at 10 as they lined up their army against a Warriors side that has been having the worst season. Even though the  Warriors were at the bottom of the table, their play was promising.

Warriors’ quality was shown as they bossed their neighbors in a thrilling encounter. Richard Kinyai’s quality was clear for all to see. Leading his side impressively to hold onto a well deserved win even after Rams came back fighting in the second half to threaten their lead.

Warriors fans must be relieved as their team moved off the bottom of the table to 9th position going into game week 9.

It is such a good moment to follow rugby this season with action both at the top and bottom of the log and teams changing positions all over the table.

Ft: Warriors 24-19 Rams
