Mid-season came at the right time as the stars needed that half season break to catch their breath and start all over again come the second half of the season. The last three home games have seen Bright Stars lose all while the 0-1 away win at the Kakyeka Stadium against Mbarara FC in the second last game of the half season was their first victory in six games.

Ranked 10th with 17 points, the team from Matugga has been inconsistent with the key highlight of their league season being the 5-0 home win at home against bottom placed side Kitara.

With a poor away goal scoring record, Bright Stars need to improve their performances on the road as only 32 percent of their goals so far scored on the away fixtures is too small..

The experience of 40-year-old Abubarker Tabula has not helped much and they look destined for a bottom half finish in the Uganda Premier League this season.

Final Report Comment: Bright stars might not be relegated this season but surely will need to improve if they are to keep in the top division for years to come. UGsports.net predicts for Bright Stars to avoid relegation
