Kampala City Council Authority Football Club, aka the Kasasiro Boys have a big weekend ahead of them, as they kickoff the second round of the UPL season at home to BUL FC on Friday 2nd April 2021 at the MTN-Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

In a season that has seen Coach Mike Mutebi’s tactics come into question, the Kasasiro Boys will hope that they put their mid-season challenges behind, going into the second period of the UPL season.

The club had too many challenges coping with the absence of their assistant coach Morley Byekwaso who was away on national team duty. But Ugsport.net has learned the assistant coach is back with the team and looking fully committed to kickstart the second half of the season.

KCCA will for sure need to improve on their defense, come the second round of UPL fixtures after conceding 75% of the goals in the first half.

The 8 : 0 win against Onduparaka was a highlight in KCCA’s season as the goals have been coming in plenty.

KCCA has registered no win against the top 5 teams in the league losing 2 against leaders URA and Vipers while drawing 2 against Express and Police FC.

They registered some mid-season high scoring wins against Busoga United 4:0 and 6:1 against the UPDF. This is a sign that the Kasasiro boys will entertain us come the second half of the season, but they might also need to improve on their shooting sharpness as the club will need a flow of goals in the second round.

UPDATE: KCCA will go into the second half of the season with Morley Byekwaso a head coach having parted ways with Mike Mutebi.

Final Report Comment: KCCA FC is bound to give a good show this season. But if the proceedings of the first half of the season are anything to go by, the Kasasiro boys will have to show up against the other title contenders. Failure to do so will see them lose out on the big prize. They have to get into the habit of breaking the likes of: URA FC, Vipers SC, Express FC if they are to remain at the helm. https://ugsports.net/football/ predicts top four finish for KCCA.
