With 64 percent of SC Villa’s points coming from home games, the Jogoos have so far had a season of mixed fortunes. Last season the record champions at one point seemed to be destined for a fight for league honors before Corona brought the league to a halt.

Only one game this season did Villa win with a goal margin of 3, and it came at home against Mbarara City but the rest of the other games have been by a 1 goal margin and Villa managing to keep only four clean sheets in the process.

Goals have been coming in for the Jogoos but with a defense that has conceded at least one goal in 12 of the 17 games, SC Villa will need to work on the defensive department if they are to bridge the 13-point gap separating them from table leaders Vipers who lead the log ahead of URA on goal difference.

Keeping a lead has been difficult for SC Villa with the team conceding an equalizer 6 times from the 13 times they have taken the lead. The first 15 minutes have seen Villa concede 28% of the goals against.

The 3 : 0 home win against Mbarara FC was Villa’s biggest win in the 1st period of the league while a 3 : 0 loss to rivals Vipers in game week 13 has been the biggest lose.

Final Report Comment: A mid table finish should about do for Villa as they have lost ground on the top 3 teams. UGsports.net predicts a top half finish for the Jogoos.
