How Ugandan football internationals fared over the weekend

Moses Opondo came on as a 20th minute substitute but failed to help relegation threatened Odense as they lost 1-0 at home to Vejle in the Danish Superliga relegation group. Odense are 8th on the overall table.


Robert Odongkara made a rare appearance for Horoya as they were eliminated from the CAF Champions League after drawing 2-2 at home to South Africa’s Kaizer Chiefs.

Uche Mubiru played for 78 minutes as Wycombe lost 1-3 at home to Luton. Wycombe are almost certain of English League one football next season with 9 points from safety and only 5 games left.

Elvis Bwamono helped troubled South End United to keep a clean sheet in their goalless draw at home against Crawley in the English League Two. South End are second from the bottom, four points from safety with only five games left.

Bevis Mugabi came on for Long in the 81st minute to help Motherwell hold on to a 1-0 win at home to St. Mirren in the Scottish relegation group round 34. Motherwell are 8th on the overall table with 11 points clear of relegation.

Moses Waiswa was a 71st minute substitute but did little to prevent Supersport United from losing 3-0 away to Cape Town City. Supersport United are 6th on the table with 35 points after 22 matches.


Isaac Muleme played as a left attacking midfielder for the entire 90 minutes as Zizkov was held to a 1-1 draw at home to Blansko in the Czech division two. Zizkov are seventh on the table with 23 points after 17 games.
