Denis Onyango was a notable absentee in goal for Mamelodi Sundown as they lost their first champions league point after being held to a goalless draw away to Al Hillal. His deputy Salim Jamal was an unused substitute.

Joseph Ochaya missed on the team sheet as his TP Mazembe side were eliminated from the CAF champions league after losing 2-0 to Algeria’s CR Belouizdad.

Derick Nsibambi was an 80th minute substitute for Smouha as they were held 1-1 away to Khalid Aucho’s Misr Lel Makkasa. Aucho did not make the match day squad.

Uche Mubiru played for 90 minutes as his relegation threatened Wycombe won 1-0 at home against Blackburn Rovers.

Tadeo Lwanga played a full 90 minutes as his club Simba progressed from the group after defeating AS Vita 4-1 in the CAF Champions League. Simba qualified as group A winners with a game to spare.

Elvis Bwomono came on as a 74th minute substitute for Demetriou as Southend lost 0-2 to Carlisle in the English league two. Southend stayed second from the bottom with seven games to go.

Ismail Watenga was an unused substitute for Chippa United as they lost to Maritzburg United in the SPL.

Bevis Mugabi was unused substitute as Motherwell cruised through to the next round with a 5-0 away win against Formartine United in the Scottish cup

Isaac Muleme played for 75 minutes as Zizkov lost 4-2 away to Hradec in the Czech division two.

Moses Opondo was unused substitute for Odense’ 1-1 draw away to Horsens in the Danish superliga relegation group.

Farouk Miya came in for Bytyqi in the 69th minute as Konyaspor were 2-1 away winners against Erzurum BB.

Emma Okwi scored the second goal for Al Ittihad in their 4-2 home win against Arab Contractor

Kizito Luwagga scored a 37th minute penalty and got sent off at the start of 2nd half as his Hapoel Kfar Saba lost 3-1 away to Beitar Jerusalem in the Ligat ha’Al – Relegation Group
