It’s becoming a routine for the 16 time Uganda premier league champions who are slowly gaining form despite playing away from their home.
Having fallen to KCCA Football club in a 3-0 defeat, the Joogos have now recorded three consecutive wins and could side ahead of their next fixture.
SC Villa looked sharp from the first minute of the game but their efforts only paid off in the 28th minute through Charles Bbale to give the team a lead.
Ivan Bogere added the second goal of the game in the 72nd minute to seal SC Villa win over lost UPDF Football who have only managed to pick two wins since the start of the season.
Playing away from their home seemed to be a difficult situation to overcome, but they are team that is slowly trying to get back to their old days.
UPDF Football club continues to find hard times in their 2022/23 league season and any more mistakes could lead them to relegation.
The result means SC Villa move to fourth place with 23 points from thirteen engagements while UPDF Football club are just one point above relegation with seven points.
SC Villa will face another test of URA Football in their next fixture while UPDF Football club will have all hopes with home ground to register a win in their fixture against Gaddafi Football Club.
