Coach Suleiman satisfied with team’s performance

Head Coach Hemed Suleiman, popularly known as ‘Morocco’, expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance against Zambia, highlighting their determination in a challenging match where the odds seemed stacked against them. The breakthrough came early in the game, with Waziri Junior finding the back of the net in the fifth minute, assisted by Mudathir Yahya. This crucial goal secured the three points for the Taifa Stars and propelled them to six points in their group standings.

Following closely behind Tanzania are Niger and Zambia, both tied on three points each, with Congo languishing at the bottom of the group without a point after Eritrea’s withdrawal from the campaign.
