Despite Itanda having a good time with the bat during the second Red ball and all whites match that kicked off on Boxing Day, they failed to capitalise on picking all the Busowoko wickets on the final day that saw the match end in a draw.

Itanda was the better team throughout the match with both the bat and the ball that saw Steven Wabwose and Oloka Pius stretch Itanda second innings for a full day as each posted 120 runs off 233 balls and 92 runs off 152 balls respectively to give their team a much needed lead.

In the same innings, quick fires of 55 runs off 47 balls from Calvin Watuwa helped Itanda set a big score for Busowoko.

During the final innings of the match, national team player Kenneth Waiswa pulled off a century of 101 runs off 187 balls with a contribution of 45 runs off 145  balls from Muwanguzi Timothy to help Busowoko reach 210 in 96 overs with a loss of eight wickets.

Kitamirike Marvin continued to showcase his talent with the ball as he registered figures of 4/19 in the 19 overs he bowled.

Marvin also had a good time with the bat on the first day of the second red ball and all whites match as he posted 69 runs.

Busowoko fell short by 216 runs but since Itanda failed to pick all the 10 wickets on the final day, the second match ended in a draw.

There will be much to settle in the third and final red ball and all whites match that will be happening on 2nd January 2023 to 5th January 2023 at the same oval in Jinja City.
