Joshua Cheptegei was introduced as the brand ambassador for TotalEnergies Marketing Uganda’s renewable energy solutions on Friday. The company has also given the Joshua Cheptegei Development Foundation Sh150 million to support its efforts to sustainably improve the lives of local children and residents in the areas where the Foundation works.
This was accomplished at a signing ceremony for a three-year Tri-Partite Agreement between TotalEnergies Marketing Uganda, Joshua Cheptegei, and the Joshua Cheptegei Development Foundation as a sign of TotalEnergies’ dedication to supporting sports, empowering children and youth, and environmental protection.
The annual Joshua Cheptegei Xmas run was held on December 17, 2022.
In addition to a monetary donation, awards for the champions of the various categories included solar lamps, fruit plants, and entire sets of LPG cylinders valued at Sh38.1 million.

He continued by saying that TotalEnergies will also provide 150 solar lamps to the P.6 and P.7 class students at Joshua Cheptegei Primary School in honor of the crucial role teachers play in the lives and destinies of young people.
