KCCA FC visited BUL FC in a tie that many had higher expectations that the result as the two sides ended with a one-all draw at FUFA Technical centre, Njeru.
Both sides were very cagey with possession although KCCA FC seemed more comfortable passing the ball in the midfield with Moses Wasswa spraying masses and finding a good match with Martin Aprem.
The Kasasiro boys conceded an early goal through Vincent Ziwa who slotted in the ball after Brian Majwega fumbled with the ball in the box area.
After conceding the goal, KCCA FC became very fierce attacking one after another which saw Julius Poloto hitting the woodwork and Mohamad Shaban trying one at the left bottom corner.
BUL FC kept a good shape through the game, defending so well in their final third, cutting out threats from forward roving Ssenoga Kagawa.
Towards the end of the first half, Ziwa exploited the right wing with Kagawa playing more advanced, causing a lot of trouble for the back three, Mujuzi, Geofrey Wasswa and Denis Iguma.
The second half started so fast and KCCA FC gave a quick response with a goal through Julius Poloto and an assist from the wonderful Allan Okello.
With one point, KCCA FC stays atop the standings with 26 points, ahead of its tightest competitor, Vipers SC, who dropped 2 points against Express FC.
