Lady Dolphins got an early lead in the match with the help of Flavia Oketcho and Elon Brenda with the match ending 15-5. This did not dampen the Leopards spirit as they came back fighting in the second half. The Leopards slowly got themselves back into the game through team effort with captain Chemutai Joy bagging most of the points.

Lamunu tied the contest when the score clocked 36. Ruth Atuhaire took the lead for KCCA Leopards in the third quarter for the first time in the game.

Fourth quarter was more heated with JKL meaning business taking a 6-0 nil before the ever impressive Lamunu hit back with a 3 pointer. Big point came when Irankunda put 3 points in the basket in the dying minutes of the game to create a three point gap for the Leopards.

Hope Akello boasted a game-high of 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Dolphins. She was closely followed by Oketcho and Ekone with 11 points each.

Awor led the winning team with 16 points.

Shining star Lamunu chipped in 13 and 8 rebounds. She was followed by Aanyu on 9 rebounds for the Leopards.
