Key talking points as Heathens clinches back-to-back final wins| Nile Special Rugby Sevens

Heathens clinched the Arua Sevens series on Saturday at the Greenlight Stadium.

They successfully defended their Cup Final.

Heathens played six games, won six of them, and finished with 137 points while giving up 12.

They defeated Jinja Hippos, 10-00, in a rematch of the Entebbe Sevens Cup Final from two weeks prior, with Lawrence Sebuliba in charge this time.

Sebuliba received the Most Valuable Player award as well for his outstanding play on the day Heathens took the lead in the Log.

The Rujumba Sevens, which will take place from September 3rd to 4th  in Kings Park, Bweyogerere, will be the next event. 

Hippos are third on the series table with 51 points while Impis are fourth with 46 points.

Rams are fifth with 42 points, the Buffaloes have dropped to the sixth position with 39 points, and defending champions, KOBs are lagging in seventh with 30 points.

The Warriors are eighth with 27 points while Walukuba Barbarians and Mongers both have 23 points.

The next circuit of the Nile Special 7s will be hosted by Pirates on the 3rd and 4th of September.

Three more circuits will be played at Buhinga Stadium in Fort Portal, at Bugembe in Jinja, and at Kyadondo Rugby Club in Kampala.
