Misr Lel Makkasa and Uganda Cranes midfielder Khalid Aucho has been hospitalized with a yet to be determined illness. The midfielder took up on himself through his Facebook account to inform his followers how unwell he was.
“This life you may think I’m fine yet am going to hospital. May Allah heal me Wallahi,” said the Egyptian based Cranes midfielder. He continued to ask his followers to put him in their prayers.
Khalid has been actively engaged in fasting and it is widely believed that it could be an ulcer attack since he has also been actively engaged in his club’s training and league matches.
Aucho was an unused substitute for Misr Lel Makkasa’s goalless draw away to El Masry in the Egyptian Premier league match on Sunday.
He last appeared for Misr Lel Makkasa in a 2-0 home loss to El Gaish on 5th May 2021 where he played the entire 90 minutes and was yellow carded.
Misr Lel Makkasa currently occupies 10th position in the Egyptian Premier league and are winless in their last 6 league matches. They play El Gouna next at home on Saturday 15th May 2021 where his Cranes team mate Allan Kyambade plies his trade from.
