Kissa finishes 6th at the Istanbul half marathon

Pinned behind the leading pack too frequently, Stephen Kissa started losing pace to eventual winner Kibiwott Kandie from Kenya with a time of 59.35.

Stephen Kissa managed to record a time of 1:00:02 which meant that the Ugandan could only afford 6th position in an event that was dominated by Kenyans with all the top three positions being occupied by Kenyan Athletes.

World record-holder Kibiwott Kandie won the men’s race while World marathon champion Ruth Chepngetich won the ladies category with a stunning record time of 1:04:02.
