Kaaro Karungi Fc 1-1 Kitara FC.

Kitara FC away from home continued as Kaaro Karungi FC held them to a 1-1 draw at George’s arena in Ibanda on Thursday 19th January in the FUFA Big League.

The visitors took an lead through 2022 summer window Bwambale Lazaro in the 7th minute from Midfielder Moses Sseruyidde’s cross.

Bwambale joined Kitara FC from Kitara Region league Edward group side Rwenzori Lions FC.

Ten minutes into the second second stanza winger Silagi Mudindo equalized for the home team bringing the game to 1-1 and that was the score line till the last whistle.

This was Kitara FC’s fourth draw of the season all coming away from home. They have won only one on the road 0-3 against Lugazi FC and lost two.

Coach Mark Twinamasiko side Kitara FC remained top of the table despite dropping two points with 31 points, one above 2nd and 3rd placed Mbarara City FC and NEC FC respectively.

On the other side , Karo Karungi FC ended first unbeaten at home in the seven matches winning four and drawing three scoring eleven goals and letting in seven in the process.

The result took Kaaro Karungi FC to 15 points after 15 games 13th on the FUFA Big League table at the end of first round.
