Result: Kitara FC 4-1 Kyetume FC
Kitara FC bounced back to winning ways with a commanding 4-1 victory over Kyetume FC at Kigaya play ground on Thursday 22nd of December.
Patrick Henry Kaddu who had a double on the day broke the deadlocks after twenty minutes with a header, hence 1-0.
The hungry Kaddu completed his brace four minutes after half an hour mark putting his side in a 2-0 driving sit at the end of the first stanza.
Kyetume FC pulled one back in the second half nine minutes to the normal time from Muzamiru Waisswa.
In the last five minutes of the match former URA FC midfielder Moses Sseruyidde and striker Edson Agondeze stretched the home team lead to 4-1 in the 85th and 88th minutes.
Coach Mark Twinamasiko side came to this match after suffering a 1-0 away defeat to Mbarara City FC which was their second loss of the season.
Kaddu’s brace means he took his tally to 12 goals now the FUFA Big League top scorer.
This was Kitara FC’s sixth win from the six games played at their home base. They have scored 21 goals and Conceded only three.
The result return Kitara FC on top of the table with 23 points level with NEC FC who on the same day beat Booma FC 1-0 away in Masindi.
The goal difference of eight separates the two, hence Kitara FC top and NEC FC second.
Kyetume FC poor form away from home continued after they suffered a fifth loss from the five they have played on the road where they have scored only three goals conceding eleven.
The Slaughters remain at 11 points after eleven games, dropped from 11th to 12th on the table.
This was the third time the were meeting. Kitara FC beat the Mukono side for the second time while the other is a draw.
Thirteen goals have been seen in the meeting between the two, nine by Kitara FC and four from Kyetume FC.
The two teams return to action on Thursday 29th of December on matchday twelve.
Kitara FC again will be at home welcoming Luweero United while Kyetume FC at Nakisunga ssaza ground host Lugazi FC.
