Kitara FC demolishes Ndejje University FC to remain at the summit of FUFA Big League

Kitara FC 5-1 Ndejje University FC.

Kitara FC returned to winning ways in style with a comfortable 5-1 home win over struggling Ndejje University FC in the FUFA Big League fixture played at Kigaya play ground in Hoima City on Thursday 8th December.

Agondeze Edson (brace), Patrick Henry Kaddu, Mugume Patrick and Kayondo Ronald scored for the home side while Abigaba Vicent for the visitors.

Kaddu put the royals in the driving sit as early as the first minute after the goalkeeper had split Moses Sseruyidde’s free kick.

This was Kaddu’s tenth goal of the season from nine games.

Left back Mugume Patrick doubled coach Mark Twinamasiko’s side three minutes to the half time whistle from the headers, 2-0.

The university side who started the second stanza on a high and pressing pulled one from Abigaba Vicent after four minutes.

After conceding the Hoima City side responded well with two strikes from striker Agondeze Edson in the 62nd and 70th minutes taking his goal tally to six this season.

The minutes to the final whistle substitute Kayondo Ronald sealed the thumping and win from Byabachwezi Derrick cross, 5-1.

This was Kitara Fc’s 6th win of the season after nine games and remain on the table with 20 points, one above second placed Mbarara City Fc who beat Kyetume Fc 3-1 at Kakyeka stadium.

The result also means Kitara fc has won all the five games they have played at their home base, scored 17 goals, Conceded only two and keeping three clean sheets.

Ndejje University FC suffered their third defeat away from home in five games but fouth in the entire season from nine fixtures, hence remain at nine points 13th on the log.

Matchday ten will kick start on Thursday 15th of December, Kitara FC will be away to Mbarara City FC while Ndejje University FC welcome Luweero United.
