Kitara FC went into today’s game lying at the bottom of the table with 8 points from 21 games, they are now 15 points into the relegation zone after today’s late equalizer against Busoga United FC at the Masindi Municipal Stadium.

The kickoff was delayed due to the heavy downpour in Masindi.

The Hippos midfielder Isma Mugulusi opened up the scores for Busoga United Fc with a well curved direct free kick to give his team an early lead in the 23rd minute.

Kitara FC found an equalizer before halftime through Musa Docca and the game was level at the end of 45 minutes with both teams having scored once.

In the drizzles at the Masindi Municipal Stadium the second half began, 19 minutes into the half Busoga United was into the lead through Ivan Wani’s 64th minute goal.

Both teams kept on searching for goals in the second half but Busoga United FC was unfortunate when they lost Nantamu Michael to injury and was replaced by Omedwa Rogers.

After several minutes of added time Oloro Nathan netted a late equalizer to secure a point for Kitara FC.

The Final whistle was blown and the game ended 2-2.

Kitara FC are now having 9 points at the bottom of the table after 22 games played one point behind MYDA FC.
