Karo Karungi FC vs Kirara FC.
FUFA Big League table leaders Kitara FC make a long trip to Ibanda district where they take on Karo Karungi FC on Thursday 19th of January.
Mark Twinamasiko men have collected 30 points after 14 games and are on top of the FUFA Big League table, one above second placed Mbarara City FC who too travel to Lira to play Northern Gateway FC.
Kitara FC bounced back from behind to beat Adjumani Town Council FC 2-1 in the last fixture, thanks to Patrick Henry Kaddu and John Kisakye goals.
Karo Karungi FC were beaten by Mbarara City FC 1-0 coming to this one. They are 12th on the table with 14 points.
This is the first ever meeting between the two clubs.
The home team Karo Karungi FC have not won in the last three matches where two are defeats and one draw.
More so Ismael Igga side is still unbeaten at their home base in the six games, won four and drawn two.
The bad side of it is they were held to a 2-2 draw by Ndejje University FC the last time they played in front of the home fans.
Though Kitara FC are on top of the table their away form is not pleasing. Out of the total six games they have played away from home they have managed one win which was on matchday four on 3rd November last year against Lugazi FC 0-3.
The other five have ended in three draws and two losses.
More so the visitors have scored one goal and Conceded three in their previous four games on the road.
Onform Patrick Henry the current league top scorer with 15 goals will be looked at for as the saviour of the day and Edson Agondeze who is the club second top scorer with eight.
A win in Ibanda will ensure the Hoima City side end first round as table leaders regardless of any result from the Northern Gateway FC and Mbarara City fixture in Lira.
